Atlantis in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey The Fate Of Atlantis DLC

Top 10 Best Locations In The Assassin’s Creed Games

Introduction:

The Assassin’s Creed series has been taking us through all sorts of different time periods with engaging characters and beautiful locations for years now and, with no signs of stopping anytime soon! Even though every entry in the series has beauty in every corner, there are some specific locations that are so insanely memorable that we cannot help but want to revisit them time and time again! Here is our list of the top 10 best locations in the Assassin’s Creed games!

Mountain Peak in Assassins’ Creed Odyssey

Starting off at number 10 is the Mountain Peak in Assassins’ Creed Odyssey!

Usually, snow is the last thing people think of when Greece is mentioned, however, if you head to the mountain range in Taygetos and, if you climb up to the top of the mountain, you will be greeted with, not only, a stunning view of the distant lands but, also, a lot of snow, which is just a great contrast between the white sandy beaches found in the game!

Cappadocia in Assassin’s Creed Revelations

At number 9 is Cappadocia in Assassin’s Creed Revelations!

This entry in the Assassin’s Creed series provided a lot of beautiful locations but, one, in particular, is Cappadocia, the underground town where the protagonist has to eventually escape from! It is not only beautiful but also quite unique (obviously because of the fact that it’s underground) so it definitely deserves the mention!

Havana in Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag

At number 8 is Havana in Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag!

Between all the lush islands and vast open seas, there is this city called Havana that is booming with life and pirates! Sure, it might not have the usual massive climbable buildings that the Assassin’s Creed series loves to have in its games but, it is so beautiful that, honestly, it doesn’t even matter!

Venice in Assassin’s Creed II

At number 7 is Venice in Assassin’s Creed II!

Venice is a stunning city in the real world already so, it is only natural that having a videogame about assassins that let us climb the historical buildings of the city would be top-notch! This city is full of beautiful European architecture plus, the story of the game definitely embellishes the city itself!

Alexandria in Assassin’s Creed Origins

At number 6 is Alexandria in Assassin’s Creed Origins!

This beautifully detailed city is the second-largest one in the game and it’s one that is quite memorable for it! Booming with life and alleyways to explore as well as the lighthouse and the famous Library of Alexandria (before its destruction), make this city one that players want to revisit time and time again! Not only is it absolutely stunning but it is also packed with historical figures and buildings that were lost in time, all on display for us to climb, play around in and appreciate!

The Arctic in Assassin’s Creed Rogue

At number 5 is The Arctic in Assassin’s Creed Rogue!

At first glance, this might not seem as impressive as other entries on this list but, don’t let the glaciers, vast arctic waters and the snow fool you! It is only when we are finally able to see the northern lights that we can truly appreciate the beauty that lies in the arctic so, we are very grateful that we got to explore this wonderful location in an Assassin’s Creed game!

Big Ben in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

At number 4 is Big Ben in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate!

This is one of the most visited tourist attractions in real life London so, it is only natural that when playing as a very acrobatic assassin, that we would eventually try to climb it and, yeah, it is as epic as it sounds! Being able to climb up to the top of such a historical monument like the Big Ben, is unlike anything else in London and, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate made sure that the details found in it were as true to life as possible, making this an absolutely unforgettable experience!

Pyramids Of Giza in Assassin’s Creed Origins

At number 3 are the Pyramids Of Giza in Assassin’s Creed Origins!

Speaking of climbing historical monuments, this might be the most famous one in the entire world! I don’t think there is anyone who hasn’t heard or seen pictures of the Pyramids Of Giza before so, to be able to just ride a camel to their location to then start climbing the pyramids and sliding down as if we were just snowboarding down a mountain is insanely cool! There is also the fact that we actually get to explore the pyramids themselves on the inside, which is also a very unique experience!

Paris in Assassin’s Creed Unity

At number 2 is Paris in Assassin’s Creed Unity!

This is one of the most faithful recreations of a city in all the games of the Assassin’s Creed series! Everything here is stunning and full of detail (so much so that the recreation of Notre Dam was used after the big fire that happened) and, if we look past the bugs, there is a lot of beauty to be appreciated! This recreation of Paris is one that is quite underrated but, it definitely deserves praise!

Atlantis in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey The Fate Of Atlantis DLC

Finally, at number 1 is Atlantis in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: The Fate Of Atlantis DLC!

Even though this might not be a historical location per se, it is still incredibly cool to visit! The Fate Of Atlantis DLC introduced many different locations, between them the underworld where Hades lives, however, the main and final attraction was the mythical city of Atlantis, which was (supposedly) swallowed by the sea. It is both futuristic and mythical in its looks, with clear inspiration on the ancient greek architecture as well, with little details here and there that make this city the stuff of legends!
