Age Is Just A Number in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Top 10 Missions In The Assassin’s Creed Games

Introduction:

The Assassin’s Creed games are best appreciated as seen as a whole! From start to finish, the story has to really hold the attention of the player and making them feel something, without being too “in our faces” to the point where we’re able to see the outcome straight away! Even though this is true for any videogame out there, some missions tend to stand out from others, whether that is the main story mission or side ones so, here is our list of the top 10 missions in the Assassin’s Creed games!

World War 1 in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

Starting off at number 10 is World War 1 in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate!

This was a pretty cool side mission that only became available at the beginning of sequence 6 but one that is quite unforgettable! If you head towards the east side of the Thames River, you will encounter a memory rift that lets you play as an assassin in World War 1 and, honestly, seeing the airplanes, the lights, the destruction and everything in such a way was very impactful.

Old Times in Assassin’s Creed Origins

At number 9 is Old Times in Assassin’s Creed Origins!

If you are walking around Alexandria, you might come across an old friend of Bayek called Sennefer and you find out that he’s competing in the chariot races. This is a great look into Bayek’s old life as they reminisce on the good old times, before all the events that we follow throughout the game!

Freedom Of The Press in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

At number 8 is Freedom Of The Press in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate!

Freedom of speech is a very precious thing so, as such, Alexander Bell wants to make sure that free-from-control telegraphic lines are properly installed and, “where are they going to be installed” you ask? Oh, just in one of the tallest monuments in London, you know, the Big Ben?! Yeah, it is quite a memorable mission because we actually get to climb up to it and zipline all throughout the roofs surrounding it, installing fuses along the way!

The Escape in Assassin’s Creed Unity

At number 7 is The Escape in Assassin’s Creed Unity!

After the assassination of Marie Levesque, Arno meets with Elise in order to escape but, how they escape is actually quite iconic in itself! “Is it a plane, is it a bird”? No! It’s a hot hair balloon! Yes, Arno and Elise escape on a hot air balloon and we don’t think there’s a cooler way to see the city like the way we get to see it in this mission!

Lisbon’s Earthquake in Assassin’s Creed Rogue

At number 6 is Lisbon’s Earthquake in Assassin’s Creed Rogue!

The real-life historical Lisbon’s earthquake was a very devastating natural disaster for the city and the country as a whole so, it is actually pretty epic that we get to experience that first hand in Assassin’s Creed Rogue! The game actually had the players running and jumping from building to building in order to escape the devastation that the earthquake was causing as buildings were crumbling right behind us, which really puts things into perspective.

The Forum Of The Ox in Assassin’s Creed Revelations

At number 5 is The Forum Of The Ox in Assassin’s Creed Revelations!

This entry in the Assassin’s Creed series was quite underwhelming for a lot of reasons, however, this mission encapsulates all that this series has best to offer! This mission incorporated all elements of what it is to be a good assassin, from having great acrobatic skills, to be stealthy when needed and to be deadly when discovered, this mission really called for skill but it sure was a lot of fun to go through!

Julien Du Casse’s assassination in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag

At number 4 is Julien Du Casse’s assassination in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag!

This mission let the players visit Great Inagua for the first time and actually had them going through the lush jungle that it has, straight through a town and onto a boat where Julien was hiding! It was one of the coolest and most fun-to-play assassination missions in the game and one that is still fun to this day!

Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood

At number 3 is Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood!

We all know that, in real life, some people might not be what they initially portray themselves as and, this mission explores that concept but, in a much more action-packed way. Having to travel to the Vaticano district to uncover a mystery was already pretty cool but, finding out that the one behind it was the cardinal made it that much more unexpected!

Tomb Missions in Assassin’s Creed II

At number 2 is Tomb Missions in Assassin’s Creed II!

It is undeniable that no other entry in the series has done tomb missions as well as this entry in the Assassin’s Creed series! The creepy music, fantastic platforming sequences and assassinations made all the tomb missions a blast to play through!

Age Is Just A Number in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Finally, at number 1 is Age Is Just A Number in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey!

We don’t really think that a mission or quest in the entirety of the Assassin’s Creed franchise has been more talked about than this one!

This quest follows an elderly couple that is having problems in their sex life, well, actually, the man is just tired but the woman keeps wanting more fun! It is up to you to either get ingredients for a love potion that she wants to create (so her husband gets more energy) or, you can take care of it for him and actually give her that energy she so desires! Overall, this quest is just hilarious and was very unexpected as well! This is the kind of quest that, realistically, adds nothing meaningful to the protagonist’s story but, definitely provides the player with a lot of humour and for that, it had to be on the number one spot of our list!
